During our recent family getaway to San Blas, we embraced a rather unique atmosphere. The hotel has that quaint charm, situated just a stone’s throw away from a vibrant town filled with dining options. Traveling with our young child and our dog made it a delight, as the hotel's welcoming pet policy allowed our furry friend to join us for meals, even in the restaurant. We enjoyed a spacious room with a balcony showcasing a stunning mountain view, perfect for lazy mornings. While the hotel may show signs of age, it provided all essentials for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, albeit language barriers existed, as only Spanish was spoken; however, we managed just fine. Every morning, the restaurant buzzed with locals, and we appreciated the simple breakfast fare of croissants and sandwiches alongside quality coffee. This place feels like a hub for families looking to unwind while exploring the lovely surroundings. All in all, San Blas served as an agreeable base for our adventures.
